On the the surface, Pokemon looks like nothing more than a kids game with little to no value other than having some pocket monsters ending up in your kids back pocket that will most likely ruin your next next load of laundry. However, any who dare to step into this space and tumble down the rabbit hole like Alice in Wonder Land will find an entire world filled with more candy and temptations than Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and better connections than the well known sitcom Friends. The true connections and memories that are made through Pokemon is the real pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. As we will unravel here today, Filipe embodies everything we have articulated thus far and so much more. From deepening his bond with his son through Pokemon, building a plethora of life long friendships through social media and up to this very moment of spending time with us here today.
