By definition, knowledge is facts and skills acquired through experience and education. But this is not really the delima that faces so many. The real question is, How do we apply that knowledge to a world and environment that is ever changing. This my friends is where the true game changers reside. James at Z&G Emporium has navigated his changes in passion while merging his actions with needs of the market. Just like when he found out he was paying sales tax for far too long, James continues to take feedback and inputs in order to grow, learn and create his future, while pursuing what he is passionate about. If that isn’t the deepest definition of success, then I don’t know what is. Leading by example and continuing to build trust throughout the hobby, James truly is a pillar many look up to. For anyone that has ever worked in kitchen at scale knows it can deliver the hottest fires, yet the coldest steel. However, it is not the extreme temperatures that everyone comes for, it is the mouth watering meals, beautifully displayed and personal touch dishes that keep the customers returning time and time again. But truth is, that is not the true value in the kitchen. So what is then? It is the leadership (not to be confused with management) that takes place therein. This is perhaps more valuable than any meal ever served or revenue generated. Why? That is because the meal may change the night, day, or experience, but the true leadership changes lives forever. Chef is just that leader that we all need and want in our kitchens. So let’s put our toque’s, get in the kitchen and get to cooking. Chef, welcome to Pokemon Wonder!

But what happens when you bring your nostalgia to the present, relive it, and fall in love all over again? You then are able to turn bittersweet into just sweet. I have had the pleasure of speaking with many people in the hobby and one common question I always like to ask is who they admire and look up to. There is one name the rightfully rises to the top of that list nearly every time, Rusty at TCA Gaming.
But how is it that one man, can be at the top of mind for so many? It is not through marketing dollars, celebrity promotion, or even endorsements that has brought this man to this humble throne. No, not even close! It is instead years of dedication, hard work, daily improvement, and most of all the deepest desire to do right by everyone he encounters and leave this place better than he found it. This is something you cannot buy your way into, it must be earned.
As we often do, we will dive deep with our guest and even revisit many of the stories of Rusty’s journey while unearthing new life and gems not yet discussed. It is my deepest pleasure with the sincerest gratitude to welcome Rusty to Pokemon Wonder!

Doing what you love is often a fantasy and dream for so many of us, however, Joe at Catchem Collectibles was able to make that dream come true. Linking his love of Pokemon from his childhood to now his family and kids (with a little help from Jose and Shining Fates), Joe was able to create a massively successful Pokemon brick and mortar business that so many of us (including me and my family) can't wait to go to each and every week. This is no easy task and it takes a monumental effort to keep this dream alive.
